I have always loved all forms of art from an early age…
My mother taught my siblings and I to paint, draw, sew, cook, etc. very young. My father loved all genres of music and taught us to appreciate this art form, by playing all types of music & creating/playing songs on his guitar around the house.
My introduction to jewelry making & love for beads, came after taking a jewelry-making class. Then after my eldest daughter was born in 1988, it quickly turned into my hobby of choice. Frequently, people started asking about, or commenting on the pieces that I wore.
Jewelry is so very rich in every culture and is mentioned in all our history over the generations…
Each piece I create, has a history or sentiment behind it and it’s been very therapeutic to me over the years. It’s a “ wearable” form of art that most can relate to…demonstrating a true expression, of our individual “authenticity”.
I love to create…as I pray that love transcends and is felt in every piece I design.
